Since SMAN 3 MADIUN has been chosen as SMAN 3 Taruna Angkasa Jawa Timur by Department of Education of East Java Province, this school has been cooperated with many institutions. One of institutions that works with SMAN 3 Taruna Angkasa Jawa Timur is Peace Corps.
Peace Corps is a volunteer program run by United States Government. It assists other countries, including Indonesia in the development of education, agriculture and health. Education is the largest program of Peace Corps.

of SMAN 3 TARUNA ANGKASA JAWA TIMUR, Drs. Didik Wahyu Widayat, M.Si, proposed
to the Education Department of East Java Province, to send one Peace Corps
Volunteer to SMAN 3 Taruna Angkasa Jawa Timur to support English Teaching
Program.
According to the Director of Peace
Corps for Indonesia, Jennifer Goette, the mission of Peace Corps is about
expanding people-to- people exchange, cultural understanding, and building
educational partnership through English Teaching Program and a variety of
secondary activities and programs that focus on youth and community
development.
When she visited SMAN 3 Taruna Angkasa Jawa Timur, 14 May 2019, she wanted to learn how the school. Not only about the students, teachers, teaching and learning process but also how the school, as a military-based boarding school, conducts the education system. Especially, she wanted to learn the contribution of Peace Corps Program of education through Peace Corps Volunteer.
Besides teaching and learning process in the classroom, kinds of program that are supported by Peace Corps Volunteer, include In Service Training, English Club, Student Exchange or YES program, Camp IGLO and IBRO, English Corner at RRI PRO 2 MADIUN, and many more.

and Debora, Jennifer Goette also surveyed all part of school buildings,
classrooms, teachers’ room and staff room, library, sport center and dormitory.
